"They cried to you and were saved; in you they trusted and were not disappointed." - Psalm 22:5
Some people put their trust in their own strength, others in beauty or money. We all have faith, but the difference lies in where we put it. Those who put their faith in their own strength will lose it over time. Those who put their faith in money risk bankruptcy.
However, no one who puts their trust in God is disappointed. Our God is unchanging! Everything can pass away: money, strength, power, but the Word of the Lord will remain forever.
God is with us in the storm and in the calm, in sadness and in joy. God hears the cry of his children and answers all prayers. Trust in God and you will feel secure!
Trusting in God
The best way to grow in trust in God is by reading his Word. Read the Bible!
Declare your trust in God, pray. Speak to him.
Do not continue worried and distressed, God will act at the right time (2 Peter 3:8) Trust in God!
To pray: God, my faith is firm in you. There may be situations and people that disappoint me, but I know that you, my Lord, are faithful. I trust in you! Amen.
