In life, we often face challenges, achievements, and moments of great joy. Amidst all this, it's important to remember that the glory is not ours, but God's. He is the author of all things and deserves all honor and praise.
When we succeed in our plans, we shouldn't pride ourselves as if it's solely our merit. It's God who strengthens us, guides us, and provides opportunities. He sustains us in difficult times and abundantly blesses us.
God's Word teaches us to glorify the Lord in all we do. In 1 Corinthians 10:31 it says, "So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God." This means our lives should reflect the greatness and goodness of our Creator in all areas.
When we acknowledge that the glory is God's, our humility increases, and our gratitude flourishes. We should always seek to live according to the Lord's will and be instruments of His glory in this world.
Let's remember at all times that the glory belongs to God, and He deserves all our praise and worship. In all circumstances, He is worthy to receive honor because He is the Almighty Lord, our Savior, and sustainer of life.
Acknowledging God's glory:
- Recognize that your achievements are a result of God's grace, share the glory with Him in gratitude.
- Seek God in prayer before making important decisions, trusting in His wisdom to achieve success.
- Use your achievements to serve others and spread God's love and truth, making God's glory evident in your life.
To pray: Lord God, I thank you for your blessings and achievements in my life. All the glory is yours. Amen!
